In a striking turn of events, the Volvo C40 Recharge, introduced just last month at an enticing price of Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom), has undergone a notable transformation. With an impressive 100+ bookings received since September 5, 2023, the electric vehicle's value proposition has grown even further. However, there's a twist in the tale as the carmaker has recently bumped up the price by Rs 1.7 lakh, bringing the new ex-showroom price to Rs 62.95 lakh in Delhi.

The C40 Recharge proudly shares its robust dual-motor electric powertrain with the acclaimed XC40 Recharge, yielding an impressive 402 BHP and a hefty 660 Nm of torque. This electrifying performance is harnessed through a cutting-edge 78 kWh battery pack, delivering an exceptional maximum range of 530 km based on the WLTP cycle. Volvo attributes this improved range to a groundbreaking battery management system and the car's sleek, aerodynamic design.

Beyond its electric prowess, the C40 Recharge is a stunning electric SUV with a captivating coupe-like design. Inside, it boasts a portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system, a sporty 3-spoke steering wheel, and a futuristic digital instrument cluster. The luxury continues with a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, an air-purifying system, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system. Furthermore, the C40 Recharge is well-equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), enhancing both safety and convenience.

As Volvo pushes the boundaries of electric mobility, the C40 Recharge emerges as a symbol of innovation, luxury, and sustainable driving in the Indian automotive landscape.
