Unleash Your Inner Athlete: Honda's SP 125 Sports Edition Hits the Indian Roads

Honda has introduced the SP 125 Sports edition in India, adding a touch of athleticism to its premium commuter lineup. Priced at Rs. 90,567 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it sits at a premium of about Rs. 1,000 over the disc brake variant. This limited-time offering will be accessible through all Honda Red Wing dealerships across India.

Visually, the Sports edition of the SP 125 sets itself apart from the standard version. It flaunts eye-catching graphics adorning its body panels and sports a matte-finished exhaust muffler, departing from the chrome muffler seen on the regular model. Additionally, Honda has introduced two fresh color choices: Decent Blue Metallic and Heavy Grey Metallic. Noteworthy features include an LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, and a digital instrument cluster.

Under the hood and in terms of cycle components, the SP 125 Sports edition remains unchanged. It is powered by a 123.94cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.9Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. This engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle rides on 18-inch alloy wheels supported by telescopic forks in the front and dual springs at the rear. Braking duties are managed by a disc-drum setup, although a more budget-friendly variant with drum brakes at both ends is also on offer.
