Ultraviolette Sets New Standard with 800,000 km Warranty for F77 Electric Bike
Ultraviolette Automotive recently unveiled an unprecedented warranty program for its flagship electric bike, the F77, setting a new standard in the industry. The company is offering a remarkable warranty coverage of up to 800,000 km, a move that signals confidence in its product's longevity and performance.
Under this new warranty structure, Ultraviolette introduces three distinct packages – UV Care, UV Care+, and UV Care Max, each with varying levels of km limits. Notably, both UV Care and UV Care+ now boast doubled km coverage, while UV Care Max offers an astounding eightfold increase in coverage.
This decision stems from rigorous testing results, where an F77 test motorcycle clocked an impressive 100,000 km while retaining over 95 percent of its original rated capacity. Further validation of the motorcycle’s prowess was demonstrated during recent tests at ARAI, showcasing an IDC range of 304 km on a single charge.
Niraj Rajmohan, CTO & Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, emphasized the brand’s commitment to revolutionizing electric mobility through battery technology advancements. He highlighted the extensive efforts invested in battery engineering, including comprehensive validation processes ensuring safety across five levels, to ensure the durability and reliability of their electric motorcycles.
CEO & Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, Narayan Subramaniam, echoed Rajmohan’s sentiments, underscoring the company's dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation. Subramaniam emphasized Ultraviolette’s seven-year journey in advancing battery technology and standards, culminating in the introduction of the extended warranty program. He stressed that the expansive coverage of 800,000 km aims to surpass customer expectations, setting a new standard in EV ownership and satisfaction.
