Toyota Land crusier

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has recently issued a voluntary recall for the Land Cruiser 300, its luxury SUV. The recall affects 269 units from a specific production batch, manufactured between February 12, 2021, and February 1, 2023. The reason behind the recall is to address a potential issue with the Engine Control Unit (ECU) software in the automatic transmission.

Fortunately, no incidents related to the identified problem have been reported, ensuring the safety of customers. In a proactive approach, Toyota Kirloskar Motor is committed to resolving the situation by updating the software of the affected SUVs at no extra cost to the owners.

Despite the recall, owners are assured that they can continue using their Land Cruiser 300s until the software update is completed. To streamline the resolution process, representatives from Toyota dealerships will personally contact affected customers.

In light of the announcement, the brand underscores its dedication to customer satisfaction and safety. It encourages owners with questions or concerns regarding the recall to contact their nearest dealer or the brand’s customer assistance center for swift assistance.

The Land Cruiser 300 is available exclusively in a fully loaded variant, featuring a 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine that produces 305 BHP and 700 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
