Tata Motors Teases Sleek Safari Facelift with Stunning Upgrades – Bookings Open October 6

Tata Safari Facelift

Tata Motors has provided a sneak peek of the forthcoming Safari facelift, slated to hit the market later this month, with official bookings starting on October 6. Dealers have already been informally accepting bookings for the updated Harrier and Safari.

Following the teaser of the Harrier facelift, Tata Motors has unveiled the Safari facelift, set to debut in showrooms during the festive season. The SUV boasts an enhanced premium look with a redesigned front fascia, featuring a new grille pattern, a connected LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) bar, a refreshed bumper with a new headlight setup, and the introduction of a new gold color, as seen in the Harrier facelift teaser.

The Safari facelift will showcase newly designed alloy wheels, an updated rear profile with a new bumper, and tail lights connected by an LED bar. Notably, the model will introduce sequential turn indicators, as observed on a prototype, maintaining an overall design that is familiar yet refreshed.

Internally, the facelift brings a revamped dashboard design with new color tones and touch-sensitive buttons in the central console. The steering wheel has been replaced with a new 4-spoke unit featuring an illuminated Tata logo.

Tata Motors is set to enhance the SUVs with additional features and new upholstery color options, while retaining the same mechanical configuration. The 2.0-litre diesel engine, producing 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque, will continue to be offered with both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission choices.

Although speculations surround the introduction of a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, it seems this addition might take some time. Tata Motors is also in the process of developing an all-electric version of the Safari, anticipated to offer a range of up to 500 km on a full charge. However, the electric variant is not expected to arrive in showrooms in the near future.
