Skoda's 2024 Superb: A Glimpse into the Future of Auto Elegance and Innovation

SKODA SUPERB

In these design sketches, the new Skoda Superb exudes a sharp and contemporary look. At the front, you'll notice a larger, chrome-outlined grille that commands attention. The headlight cluster is equipped with new LED Matrix beam technology and revised detailing, including striking LED DRLs. The bumper features subtle cuts and creases that add an element of sharpness to the overall appearance.

As you move to the side profile, a clean and simple line runs gracefully across the shoulder, while the design sketch might exaggerate the alloys, you can anticipate eye-catching diamond-cut wheels in the production model. The rear profile sports sleeker LED lights, a redesigned tailgate, and a bumper that may remind you of some of Audi's stylish sedans.

The new Superb has grown in length and height, enhancing its aerodynamic prowess. Compared to the outgoing model, it's now 43 mm longer, measuring 4912 mm, and stands 12 mm taller at 1481 mm. These revised dimensions translate to increased headroom inside the cabin, and the luggage capacity has also seen a boost, now offering 645 liters of storage space.

For the first time, the new Superb will feature mild-hybrid technology in its engine lineup, offering three petrol and two diesel engine options for international markets. However, in India, we can expect to see only the petrol engine options.

Skoda had previously given us a glimpse of the interior design a couple of months ago. It features a striking 13-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system on the dashboard and a 10-inch all-digital instrument cluster.

Internationally, Skoda will offer the new Superb in both sedan and station wagon body styles. In India, we can look forward to the sedan version, with expectations of its launch around mid-2024. The 2024 Skoda Superb promises to set new standards in the world of automotive design and technology.
