Revolution on Wheels: Maruti's Wagon R Facelift Unveiled in Sneak Peek, Promising Style and Performance Overhaul!
Sneak Peek: Maruti Wagon R Facelift Test Mule Spotted Revealing Exciting Upgrades
The latest buzz in the automotive scene revolves around the almost undisguised test mule of the Maruti Wagon R facelift, recently spotted during testing. Interestingly, this prototype bears a striking resemblance to the Wagon R EV prototype glimpsed in previous sightings. Although the Wagon R EV project faced a roadblock, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to introduce the Maruti eVX as its inaugural all-electric vehicle in 2024.
With the EV variant shelved, Maruti appears to be channeling the same captivating styling into the Wagon R facelift. The prototype showcases a fresh bumper design with repositioned reflectors and enhanced rugged appeal with black cladding on the lower half. The bumper is equipped with two parking sensors, and the camouflage hints at an updated tail light design.
Anticipate a revamped front profile featuring a redesigned grille, new headlight elements, and an updated bumper, with a hopeful retention of fog lamps. The side profile may boast new alloy wheel designs and updated wheel covers.
Inside, the Wagon R facelift is expected to undergo interior enhancements, including revised upholstery, an updated infotainment system, and additional features to elevate the hatchback's desirability.
Despite the exterior and interior makeovers, the engine department remains consistent. The Wagon R facelift will retain the trusty 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol, and 1.2-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine options. Transmission choices will include manual and AMT gearboxes, while Maruti Suzuki plans to persist with the CNG powertrain option. Get ready for an upgraded Wagon R experience with a blend of style and performance!
