The BMW M 1000 R is set to make its way to India in January 2024, with two variants available at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 33 lakhs. You can pre-book this superbike at any official BMW Motorrad dealership in India.


When it comes to colors, you have options like Light White non-metallic/M Motorsport and Blackstorm metallic/M Motorsport in the Competition package.


Under the hood, it boasts a powerful 999cc, water-cooled inline 4-cylinder engine generating 212 HP at 14,500 RPM and 113 Nm of torque at 11,000 RPM. This performance beast accelerates from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 3.2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 280 km/hr.


The bike is equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT display, M logo start-up animation, revised rev counter display, and various advanced features such as an OBD interface for M GPS Datalogger, M GPS Laptrigger, a lightweight M battery, rear USB charging socket, powerful LED lights, adaptive turning lights, electronic cruise control, and heated grips.


Riders can choose from different riding modes like "Rain," "Road," "Dynamic," "Race," and "Race Pro1-3," all complemented by the latest Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and DTC wheelie function with a 6-axis sensor box. These allow riders to finely tune aspects like throttle response, engine braking, traction control, wheelie control, ABS, and ABS Pro to match their riding style. "Pro Modes" even come with features like Launch Control and a pit-lane limiter.


Furthermore, the BMW M 1000 R comes with a standard three-year, unlimited kilometers warranty, with an option to extend it to the fourth and fifth year.
