Mahindra Unveils Thar Earth Edition: A Desert Fury Marvel with Exclusive Features

Mahindra has introduced the Earth Edition of the Thar, with a starting price of Rs. 15.40 lakhs (ex-showroom). This special variant, based on the Hard Top LX 4×4 model, showcases a striking Desert Fury matte satin finish. Notable features include Earth edition badging on the B-pillar, Desert-themed decals along the side profile, ORVMs with Desert Fury inserts, body-colored grille, and alloy wheels displaying Thar branding. The vehicle is adorned with Mahindra & Thar branding in matte black, and 4×4 & Automatic badges in matte black with red accents.

Internally, the Earth Edition boasts a decorative VIN plate on the dashboard, leatherette seats, Dune-designed headrests, beige stitching, dual-tone AC vents, HVAC in a piano black housing, and a steering wheel with a dark chrome twin-peak logo. Dark chrome accents are also present on the gear knob, adding to the overall aesthetic.

Additionally, Mahindra offers optional accessories such as customized front and rear armrests, 7D floor mats, and a comfort kit. The Earth Edition is available with both the 2.0-liter turbo petrol and the 2.2-liter diesel engines, featuring 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.

This new variant is part of Mahindra's strategy to enhance Thar sales, combining unique design elements with optional add-ons for a personalized driving experience.
