Mahindra Unveils Rall-E: A Bold Off-Road Electric Concept Set to Roar Into the Future

Mahindra recently unveiled its Rall-E, a concept electric SUV, at the Mahindra EV Fashion festival in Hyderabad. This rugged off-road variant is based on the BE.05 concept and was showcased alongside the XUV.e9 for the first time in India. The BE and XUV.e are Mahindra's new sub-brands for upcoming EVs, with production models set to roll out from December 2024.

The Rall-E, derived from the BE.05 coupe-style SUV, features distinct design modifications for an off-road-ready appearance. Notable changes include a single sleek strip for Daytime Running Lamps, round headlights, rugged tires, and an aggressive rear bumper. Exterior accessories like a roof-mounted carrier, spare wheel, and jerry cans enhance its off-road aesthetics.

While interior details are yet to be revealed, the Rall-E is expected to share similarities with the BE.05, featuring durable materials to complement its outdoor character. The BE range, comprising three SUVs, starts with the BE.05 coupe-SUV, characterized by angular C-shaped headlights and a robust presence. The XUV.e series, with two models, draws inspiration from the XUV Aero concept, showcasing unique design elements like gloss black cladding.

Underpinned by the INGLO platform, both BE and XUV.e models will enter production from December 2024 onwards, with XUV.e models taking the lead. Specific production timelines for individual models range from April 2025 to October 2025, emphasizing Mahindra's commitment to advancing its electric vehicle lineup.
