Mahindra Thar Gets a Stunning Deep Forest Makeover: Enhanced Appeal with New Color Options

Mahindra Thar now comes in a new Deep Forest color option, a dark green shade also seen on the Scorpio N and the newly launched XUV 3XO. This color enhances the Thar's off-road appeal, making it even more desirable.

Since its launch in 2020, Mahindra has regularly updated the Thar's color options. Initially, the Thar was available in six colors: Red Rage, Mystic Copper, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black, Rocky Beige, and Aquamarine.

Currently, the Thar is available in Red Rage, Deep Grey, Stealth Black, Everest White, Deep Forest, and Desert Fury. This update does not include any feature or mechanical changes.

The engine options remain the same. The Mahindra Thar is offered with a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine producing 150 BHP and 300-320 Nm of torque. It also has a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine producing 130 BHP and 300 Nm. Both engines come with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission options. The RWD variant features the same petrol engine but a smaller 1.5-litre D117 CRDe diesel engine producing 117 BHP and 300 Nm of torque with a 6-speed manual transmission.

With the upcoming Mahindra Thar Armada 5-door model, it will be interesting to see the color options it offers. Some colors might be shared with the 3-door model, but a few new colors are expected to be exclusive to the larger Thar.

We can anticipate a facelifted version of the 3-door Thar shortly after the debut of the 5-door model, featuring some new features and slightly tweaked exterior designs to keep it looking fresh.
