Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select: Unveiling an Affordable Marvel with Striking Features and Sleek Design

Scorpio N Z8

Mahindra has recently unveiled the Scorpio N Z8 Select variant, expanding its Scorpio lineup with an attractive starting price of Rs. 16.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Positioned strategically between the standard Z8 and Z6 trims, the Z8 Select variant offers a more budget-friendly option for potential buyers, with a notable reduction of Rs. 1.65 lakhs compared to the standard Z8.

Scheduled to hit dealerships on March 1, 2024, the Z8 Select is exclusively available in a sleek Midnight Black color. While retaining its versatility with both petrol and diesel engine choices, it is important to note that the 4x2 configuration is the sole offering, with no 4x4 option available.

Key features of the Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select include Adrenox Connect, Built-in Alexa, dual barrel LED headlamps, LED Projector Foglamps, LED DRLs, and stylish R17 Diamond cut Alloy wheels. Inside, the car boasts coffee-black leatherette interiors for an added touch of sophistication.

However, some features present in the standard Z8 trim are absent in the Z8 Select, such as TPMS, push-button start, dual-zone climate control, power folding mirrors, auto headlights, and auto wipers.

Under the hood, the Z8 Select maintains the same engine options – a robust 2.0-litre turbo petrol generating 200 PS and 380 Nm of torque, and a sturdy 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 175 PS and 400 Nm of torque. Both engines offer flexibility with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission choices.

With the introduction of the Z8 Select, Mahindra aims to broaden its customer base, catering to diverse preferences and bolstering Scorpio N sales in the competitive automotive market.
