Kia's Festive Surprise: Carens X Line Unveiled with Competitive Pricing Starting at Rs. 18.94 Lakhs

Kia has introduced the Carens X Line variant with a competitive pricing strategy of Rs. 18.94 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the Petrol DCT and Rs. 19.44 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the Diesel 6AT. This move is part of Kia's initiative to drive Carens sales during the upcoming festive season in India.


Available exclusively in the petrol DCT and diesel 6AT variants, the Carens X Line is configured as a 6-seater model. The exterior showcases the Xclusive Matte Graphite Exterior color, complemented by gloss black contrasting elements on the grille, front and rear bumper garnishes, rear skid plate, roof rack, side door garnish, ORVMs, and more. The vehicle boasts 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and features distinctive X Line badging on the tailgate.


Inside, the Carens X Line offers an Xclusive Two-Tone Black and Splendid Sage Green color scheme. Notably, Kia has introduced a Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) Unit for the left-hand rear passengers. This entertainment system includes features such as Podcasts, Screen Mirroring, Pinkfong, and various other entertainment and news apps. The RSE unit can be conveniently controlled via a remote-control app installed on the user’s smartphone.


Under the hood, the Carens X Line retains the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine generating 160 HP and 253 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The diesel variant is powered by the 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 115 HP and 250 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed AT. This variant aims to enhance the Carens lineup with its visual enhancements and added features, catering to the preferences of Indian consumers.
