Kia India has partnered with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited to launch a new leasing service for its popular models – the Sonet, Seltos, and Carens. This service offers flexible leasing options with monthly charges ranging from Rs. 21,900 to Rs. 28,800, depending on the model and selected terms.

The leasing service provides a variety of benefits aimed at enhancing convenience and affordability for customers. The packages include:

- Tenure Options: Customers can choose lease periods ranging from 24 to 60 months.

- Mileage Options: Various mileage options are available to cater to different driving needs.

- Inclusive Costs: The monthly lease payments cover insurance and maintenance, eliminating the need for separate budgeting for these expenses.

- No Down Payment: The leasing service does not require any initial down payment.

Initially, Kia’s leasing service is available in six major cities: Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Pune. This strategic rollout aims to tap into urban markets where leasing is becoming increasingly popular.

At the end of the lease term, customers have the flexibility to return the vehicle, renew the lease, or upgrade to a newer model.

The introduction of leasing services by Kia India reflects a growing trend in the Indian automotive market. Several mass-market carmakers, including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Skoda, and Volkswagen, have already launched similar services, many in partnership with ORIX. Additionally, luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW offer leasing options, indicating a broadening acceptance of this model across different market segments.

For Kia, the leasing service is expected to drive sales and customer loyalty by offering an alternative to traditional vehicle ownership. The inclusion of insurance and maintenance in the lease package aims to simplify vehicle management for customers, potentially attracting a broader audience, including those who may prefer lower upfront costs and hassle-free ownership experiences.

The Kia Sonet will come with a minimum lease price of Rs. 21,900. The Seltos is being offered with a minimum lease price of Rs. 28,900. The Carens will be available with a minimum lease price of Rs. 28,800.

**What are your thoughts on this new initiative by Kia and the other carmakers? Do you prefer the traditional method of buying a car or getting it on lease?**
