Gloster's Grand Revamp: MG Set to Unveil Luxurious Facelift with LDV 90 Flair!
MG Motors is gearing up to launch the facelifted version of its Gloster SUV in India, with a design expected to resemble the Maxus LDV 90 sold in global markets. The SUV, a rebadged variant of the Maxus LDV 90, has been captured in recent spy shots, showcasing its refreshed front design.
Mirroring the LDV 90 facelift, the Gloster is anticipated to feature LED daytime running lights (DRLs) at the top and a new grille design. The spy images also reveal updated alloy wheels for the facelifted Gloster. Internally, the Gloster facelift might adopt a refreshed dashboard layout, potentially incorporating a larger infotainment system.
While the current Gloster boasts an extensive list of features, the facelift could introduce subtle enhancements to maintain its competitive edge. The Gloster presently offers two engine options—a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine producing 159bhp and 370Nm of torque, and a more potent 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine with 213bhp and 480Nm of peak torque.
Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The Gloster facelift, spotted multiple times in recent months, is expected to hit showrooms in the second half of 2024, with an estimated price range between Rs 48 lakh to Rs 55 lakh.
