Double Triumph: Tata Safari and Harrier Secure 5-Star Ratings in Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP Tests!
The Bharat NCAP crash test authority recently unveiled its initial results, revealing that both the Tata Safari and Harrier achieved impressive 5-star ratings. Remarkably, just a month prior, these vehicles had also secured 5-star ratings from the Global NCAP.
These ratings encompass both adult occupant protection (AOP) and child occupant protection (COP), with the Tata Safari and Harrier scoring 30.08/32 and 44.54/49 points, respectively. Notably, these figures closely mirror the results obtained in the Global NCAP tests.
The testing parameters adopted by Bharat NCAP appear largely analogous to those of Global NCAP, with a notable distinction being the maximum point score for AOP – 32 in Bharat NCAP compared to 34 in Global NCAP.
Anticipating future assessments, Bharat NCAP is set to evaluate numerous other popularly sold cars in India, with their ratings scheduled for release in the coming days. Are there specific crash test ratings for any particular car that you are eagerly awaiting?
