2024 Skoda Kodiaq: A Stylish Sneak Peek Ahead of its Grand Debut

Skoda has provided a sneak peek at the design of the 2024 Skoda Kodiaq, set to make its official debut on October 4th. Following the recent unveiling of its interior, featuring premium elements and advanced technology, the automaker has now offered a glimpse of the SUV's exterior design through official sketches.

The upcoming Skoda Kodiaq's front profile bears a resemblance to a larger version of the Skoda Kushaq. It embodies Skoda's signature design elements, including sharp lines, a sporty demeanor, and a touch of ruggedness. Notable exterior features include the new Skoda grille design, complemented by LED headlights featuring a distinctive DRL strip. The fog lamps are seamlessly integrated beneath the headlights, while the bumper boasts sporty design accents. In the production version, expect to see a black cladding running along the lower half of the body.

The sketches showcase somewhat exaggerated alloy wheels that nonetheless exude a nice and premium design. The rear profile stands out with its fresh LED taillight units, and the B, C, and D pillars are finished in black, creating the illusion of a floating roof.

Moving to the interior, the Skoda Kodiaq presents a rugged-looking dashboard design, which appears to draw inspiration from the outgoing model. The upholstery features 100 percent recycled polyester material, aligning with sustainability goals. The cabin theme combines black and Cognac color tones.

Skoda has made a practical adjustment by relocating the gear selector lever to the steering wheel column, enhancing cabin space usability. Technological highlights include a generously sized 13-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch all-digital instrument cluster, and a new head-up display.

Additional information about the engine options and other specifications is expected to be disclosed on October 4th. It's anticipated that the new-generation Skoda Kodiaq will make its way to the Indian market by early 2024.
