2024 Kia Carnival: A Sneak Peek into the Upcoming Facelift"
The highly anticipated 2024 Kia Carnival has been leaked ahead of its official debut next month in South Korea. This iteration marks the facelift of the latest generation Carnival, which has gained popularity in international markets. Notably, this development signals the end of the previous generation Kia Carnival's official presence in India, as it has been officially discontinued.
Kia India had previously unveiled the new-generation model as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo but had yet to launch it. The unveiling of this facelifted version appears to align with their strategic plans for the Indian market.
The new Carnival presents a refreshed front profile, featuring a redesigned headlight cluster with stylish LED DRLs encircling the headlights and an updated grille design, adhering to Kia's latest design philosophy. While the side profile remains largely unchanged, the vehicle sports new alloy wheel designs that add a touch of sophistication.
The rear view of the Carnival has also undergone significant enhancements, with redesigned tail lamps that incorporate new LED detailing and a restyled tailgate and bumper. These updates contribute to an overall refreshed appearance, maintaining the Carnival's SUV-like character with its design proportions.
Inside the cabin, one can expect updates in terms of new color schemes, additional features, and minor tweaks for an enhanced driving experience. Multiple seating options will be available, as seen in the outgoing model.
Kia is anticipated to launch the new Carnival in India next year, with local assembly from completely knocked-down (CKD) kits. In the Indian market, the 2024 Kia Carnival will effectively fill the void between the Toyota Innova HyCross and the Toyota Vellfire. This segment holds immense potential, as there is strong demand for premium MPVs at a relatively affordable price point. It may even have a significant impact on the sales of the Toyota Velfire
